Week 8

This week has been very eventful. Having fall break allowed for a lot of time to work on all of the work I needed to get done for Visions. One big thing I did was met with Michelle on the website. We got together and the first thing we started to edit was the format and design of the squarespace page. We wanted to keep the space theme cohesive and went with similar space pictures for each different category on the page. We also found a new font to better embody Visions. We also made sure to see if the links and address were correct. We also began to try and create the e-mails to connect to the domain name. This is where we ran into a problem. In order to set up aliases I needed to use google apps we needed to verify the site and in order to do that we had to post a html link and ect. Even after doing all of those things we still could not do it. Some of the positives of this week where the quotes we received from postal may allow us to send out 70 CFE posters on the other end we could ship 40 CFE posters. Grace and I decided with this years design we can fold it because the design will draw the eyes away from the slight crease. This week i also received the preliminary FilmFreeway and Facebook banner. There are some resolution problems but that will get fixed. I also found out I have been freaking out about CFE launch being on the 17th because that was the old date. Somehow I forgot we changed to launch with the party. I feel we also did a great job hacking away at the database. I am excited to truly launch.
